With the NFL offseason looming, anticipation builds as teams strategize their moves in the free agency market. Our predictions for the top free agents of 2022 offer insights into potential destinations, contract values, and the impact these signings could have on teams across the league. From star quarterbacks to standout defensive players, join us as we forecast the future of the NFL's hottest commodity – free agency talent.

· Terron Armstead – Signs with Miami Dolphins
The Miami Dolphins have tons of cap space (2nd most) with potentially the worst Offensive Line in the entire NFL. I expect the Dolphins to do whatever it takes to protect Tua.
· Von Miller – Signs with Denver Broncos
Von Miller just earned his second Super Bowl ring and has been flirting with a return to the Denver Broncos ever since the season ended. With the Broncos trading for Russell Wilson, they look like a legit contender now. I wouldn’t be surprised if Von goes where his heart is.
· JC Jackson – Signs with Los Angeles Chargers
To no Patriots fans surprise, the Patriots refused to pay yet another home-grown talent what they deserve. So that means JC Jackson will hit the market looking to be one of the highest paid Cornerbacks in the league. The Chargers are going all-out with Justin Herbert on his rookie deal. They simply have to.
· Brandon Scherff – Signs with Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Officially Signed w/ Jaguars moments after this was posted)
The Bucs have now lost 2 starting offensive linemen (both Guards) to start the off-season. Ali Marpet to retirement and Alex Cappa to the Bengals. The Bucs need to build up that Line if they want to protect Tom.
· Chandler Jones – Signs with Buffalo Bills
The Buffalo Bills need a pass rush to make their defense top-top notch. The pass rush is a big reason why they lost to the Chiefs in the playoffs (back to back years). Chandler Jones is probably looking for a team to over-pay for a 32-year old edge rusher while also being on a contender. Perfect match.
· Allen Robinson – Signs with New England Patriots
The Patriots need to get Mac Jones a WR1 if they want more production out of the sophomore QB. The Patriots scheme prefers taller, bigger WR’s as the top option and A-Rob would be an ideal fit.
· Stephon Gilmore – Signs with Philadelphia Eagles
Gilmore and Darius Slay would be a great 1-2 tandem for that Eagles defense. The Eagles have a real shot to win the NFC East with a lock down secondary.
· Bobby Wagner – Signs with New England Patriots
The Seahawks are now in full rebuild mode with the releasing of Bobby Wagner. The Patriots are not expected to sign Donta Hightower back, Wagner would slide right into Belichick’s defense and continue the Patriots tradition of having stellar MLB’s.
· Tyrann Mathieu – Signs with Los Angeles Rams
The Rams needed Eric Weddle to come out of retirement to play Safety, and what an addition it was as he played a key role in their Super Bowl run. But now Weddle is back into retirement for good, leaving the Rams particularly empty at Safety. If the Rams really want to run it back they would look for this signing. A defense of Aaron Donald, Jalen Ramsey, Tyrann Mathieu, and potentially Von Miller (if he re-signs) is more than capable of running it back.
